峡头村位于青莲镇最东端，与江英镇相接，下辖30个自然村（村小组）。村委会位于连江三峡下游一段，村名由此而来。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

坝头、龙田等15个村小组共2800多名村民，过去出行不便。村两委推动了坝头至合头公路的路基建设，帮群众打通出行的最后一段路。[3]

经济[edit]

据2023年5月的报道，该村蚕桑种植面积约3000亩，建有一个蚕桑孵化基地，蚕桑产业年收入近1600万元。[3]

年鉴记峡头蚕桑种养种植基地约1.33平方千米。[4]

文化[edit]

峡头村2017年10月获评第一批广东省卫生村；2022年8月，该村列入广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建名单；另据报道，村子获评「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」。[1][3]

2023年5月，坝头、白埌、桂岩、合六、龙田、寺山、王桂山、新田、新圩9个自然村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
