从化围村是佛冈县龙山镇的一个行政村，位于镇西部，距镇政府约9千米，村域内有毛冈村、袁宅村等6条自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地清代归清远县潖一乡，民国时属清远县民安乡。新中国成立后设村，初称乡。1959年起改设大队，1983年末复为乡，1987年初设村委会，1990年至1995年间为管理区，1995年起复称村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村耕地2980亩，地势平坦，土层肥厚，是粮食产区。农业结构调整后，村内多种砂糖等优质水果。[1]
