洛洞村位于佛冈县汤塘镇，是该镇的一个行政村。村域内有革命老区的历史，百度百科称其享有「南国大寨」的美誉。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年为洛洞乡，1958年改作洛洞大队，1984年复设乡，1987年成立村民委员会，1990年设管理区，1995年定为村委会。[1]
自然环境与产业[edit]
百度百科以2012年的数据为准：该村下辖4个自然村，共20个村民小组；村域面积约17.06平方千米，山地约2.25万亩，森林覆盖率为87.87%。村内有田池公园、百丈瀑布等自然景观。[2]
作物中沙糖桔占主导，种植面积在80亩以上。[2] 博雅地名网记全村人口2302余人，耕地862亩，山地22500亩，年份未注。[1]
文化与荣誉[edit]
村域具有红色旅游开发的基础，百度百科载其被列为「红色旅游区」。[2]
2019年12月，洛洞村入选国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1] 2024年3月，洛洞村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
