汤塘镇是广东省清远市佛冈县下辖的镇，位于县境南部，距县城约19公里，辖2个社区和19个行政村。[2] 镇内地热资源丰富，黄花湖一带的温泉度假区是主要的游览地。镇名来自境内的热水塘，即温泉。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
1942年此地设汤塘乡，隶属清远县。1953年2月改归佛冈县，编为第四区，1955年6月称汤塘区。1957年划出汤塘、荣埔、四九三个乡，1958年与龙山组成潖江人民公社，次年又分出，另设汤塘人民公社。1983年底撤社改区，至1987年初成为镇。2004年5月，四九镇的辖地并入本镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]
汤塘镇位于佛冈县南部，属珠三角北部。镇内有京港澳高速公路、106国道和省道354线贯通，已纳入广州市“一小时经济圈”。漖江流经镇境。[1][3]
镇内的温泉水温较高，汤塘村的热水水温约87摄氏度，属氡温泉。[12] 黄花湖位于镇境内，湖区四面环山，20世纪90年代开发为旅游度假区，泉水日涌出量约2000立方米，水温在81至87摄氏度之间。[8]
人口民族[edit]
第七次全国人口普查结果显示，汤塘镇人口为5.93万人，在佛冈县各乡镇中位列第二。[3] 2018年的户籍人口为77511人。[1]
经济[edit]
2018年，镇内有规模以上工业企业25家。[1] 农产品中，竹山粉葛最为知名，竹山村种植粉葛已有数百年历史，2013年经国家质检总局批准为地理标志产品。[3][11] 当地的特色产品还有四九腐竹、四九荔枝等。[4]
温泉与民宿是镇内的重要产业。据百度百科，截至2023年，汤塘村的温泉民宿增至93家，当年文旅产业创收超过3200万元，带动约380人就业。[12]
文化[edit]
臭屁醋是汤塘、四九、龙山一带世代相传的炒米醋，已列入佛冈县第五批非遗名单。据当地人讲述，其制作在汤塘镇已有三百多年，其中以新塘村下辖的陂角村最具代表性。[10]
名胜古迹[edit]
猪牯墩遗址位于围镇村西南约500米的山岗上，年代为新石器时代晚期后段。该遗址20世纪50年代由省考古队发现，1982年文物普查时由县文化局文物普查队重新发现，遗址面积约4500平方米。[3]
三爰亭位于大埔村的106国道旁，靠近黄花湖与鹤鸣洲湿地公园上游。亭名取自《诗经》语句，建于清光绪十八年（1892年），为砖木结构，面宽三间，分设男、女休息区。1986年列为佛冈县文物保护单位。[3][6][7]
陂角村是新塘村下辖的自然村，始建于明末，保存有相对完整的围屋群，村中有周奋将军故居。[9][10]
县政府网站介绍的汤塘古村为明清时期的传统古村落，可见青砖黛瓦的镬耳墙民居与麻石巷道，游览路线中也包括濂溪书院。[9] 汤塘村的百度百科条目则提及濂溪书院与周奋故居是该村的文化地标。[12] 汤塘村于2016年12月列入第四批中国传统村落名录。[12][13]
荣誉[edit]
2014年7月，汤塘镇被确定为全国重点镇。[3] 2024年3月，汤塘镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[3] 2024年，汤塘镇获评「2024年广东省文化和旅游特色镇（创先级）」。[5] 2026年5月，汤塘镇入选「广东省第一批开展现代化建设的中心镇」名单。[3]
