桂田村是广东省清远市佛冈县水头镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域北部，共有5条自然村，耕地约1450亩。村名来自辖内自然村连成一片、多带“桂”字的情况。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，辖内自然村相连成片，多数名字中有一个“桂”字，因此取名桂田。[1]
清代属清远县吉河乡，民国时期属佛冈县一区水头乡。1959年5月起称桂田大队，1983年12月改为桂田乡，1987年1月改为桂田村委会，1995年11月复称村委会。[1]
人口与产业[edit]
村委会人口3445人，耕地平坦，水源一般，属粮食生产区。农业结构调整后，村里大量种植沙糖桔。[1]
2020年8月，桂田村以红心芭乐为产业，入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
