观山村是广东省清远市佛冈县石角镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西北部，距镇政府约3公里。村名取自观音山。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子坐落在观音山脚，位于石角镇政府驻地的西北方向，村名由此而来。[1]

村落与产业[edit]

辖区面积45平方千米，人口4867人，耕地2303亩，下设40个村民小组。以沙糖桔为主要种植作物，博雅地名网称人均纯收入为4656元。[1]

2020年8月，观山村因益肾子产业入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属佛冈厅吉河乡的渭江堡，民国时期与建国后均归佛冈县第一区。1958年10月划归从化县潖江人民公社。1961年5月起，本地分为石角公社的东二、象龙两个大队；1983年12月改为东二乡、象龙乡，1987年1月改设两个村委会，1990年设管理区，1995年11月复为村委会。2005年，东二、象龙两村委会合并，称观山村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村庄被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
