凤城村是广东省清远市佛冈县石角镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南面，距镇政府约2公里，村中人口较多。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于县城附近，由原凤围、凤星两个村委会合并而成，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属佛冈厅吉河乡的渭江堡，民国时期归佛冈县第一区管辖，新中国成立后仍属第一区。1958年10月划归从化县潖江人民公社。1961年5月起，本地分为石角公社的凤围、凤星两个大队；1983年12月改为凤围乡和凤星乡，1987年1月改设两个村委会，1990年设管理区，1998年11月复为村委会。2005年5月，两个村委会合并，称凤城村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村庄被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，村庄列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
