地名由来[edit]
村子所在的高山地带，高山迳连接石角圩与高岗圩，古时称神迳，新中国成立后改称诚迳，村名由此而来。[1]
村落与产业[edit]
村内有36个村民小组，人口4273人。农业以种植沙糖桔为主。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前此地归水头乡管辖。1951年起设诚迳社，1958年至1982年为大队；此后先后称乡（1983年至1986年）、村委会（1987年至1990年）、管理区（1990年至1995年），1995年又回到村委会。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，村庄被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，村庄入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
