沧边村位于广东省清远市清新区浸潭镇西北部，距镇圩约35公里。村名的由来是此地四面环山，村中有一条坑冲，每逢暴雨，泥水涌入冲边的田里，一片汪洋如同沧海，故称沧边。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年改为村委会，此前的1989年为管理区，1986年改设村委会，1983年改为沧边乡，1953年称沧边大队。该村原属桃源镇，2004年5月，桃源镇建制撤销，村改由浸潭镇管理。[1]

荣誉[edit]

沧边村于2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
