本村于2021年12月经广东省爱卫会评定，获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。广东省乡村振兴局于2022年1月把本村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]

黄洞口村是本村辖区内的自然村，2023年5月被广东省爱卫会评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
