芦苞村位于广东省清远市清新区浸潭镇南部，村名的来历与河流和芦苇有关。村前村后有小河环绕，河边芦苇丛生，故旧称芦包围，“包”与“苞”同音，后写作芦苞。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村委会建制始于1999年，此前的1989年为管理区，1983年改为乡，1958年年底前称大队，1953年则称芦苞乡。[1]
据百度百科，村始建于明嘉靖年间，当时有冯姓族人自阳山迁来定居。[2]
