浸潭社区是浸潭镇的圩镇中心所在社区，位于镇域东南一带，距清新城区约63公里。社区名称与浸潭镇相同，二者的来历也相同。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原先因驻地旁一处深潭得名。潭中有一块石头形似狗，当地起名浸狗潭；嫌其字样不雅，后俗称为浸潭。明嘉靖年间已有人来此经商，民国时逐步发展为墟市，镇名因墟名而来。[1]

2024年，社区获评清新区「无诈社区」先进活动单位。[2]
