辖区地形似「罗」字，而「罗」字含有富有的意思，村名因此为富罗。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年设富罗乡，1958年设大队，1983年复设乡，1986年成为村委会，1989年改设管理区，1999年重设村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
