地名由来[edit]

初级社时期，此地处于沙河乡的北部，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设北社乡，1958年设北社大队，1983年仍为北社乡，1986年改为北社村委会，1989年实行管理区体制，1999年又改为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，本村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
