板坑村是禾云镇下辖的行政村，面积28平方千米，下辖33个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
建村之初，村民把山上砍伐的树木在山脚坑边锯成木板，用来建造房屋，村名因此得来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年设板坑乡，1958年改设大队，1983年复为乡，1986年成为村委会，1989年实行管理区体制，1999年恢复村委会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
