桂湖村是禾云镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北面，距镇政府约11公里，辖27个自然村，地处丘陵地带。[1]
地名由来[edit]
祖先迁居至此时，看见一棵大桂花树，树旁有一口清亮的湖，景色宜人，便定居下来，并以此命名为桂湖。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年设桂湖乡，1958年划为大队，1983年再设乡，1986年改为村委会，1989年实行管理区体制，1999年恢复村委会。[1]
