井建村是禾云镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北面，距镇政府约5公里，辖13条自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此地原属井塘乡。人民公社化时分成井塘、建中两个大队，后来为便于管理，又从两个大队各划出一部分，各取一字组成村名「井建」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年设井建乡，1958年设井建大队，1984年复为井建乡，1986年改设井建村委会，1990年实行管理区体制，1999年恢复村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人物[edit]
孙中山的卫士王桂昭（1896—1975年）生于禾云镇井建马安村，16岁赴广州，1914年加入孙中山领导的中华革命党。[2]
