下迳村是禾云镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北面，距镇政府约8公里，地处山区，辖38个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

原先的地域在路迳之下，故称下迳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设下迳乡，1958年为下迳大队，1983年复为下迳乡。1986年乡建制撤销，分设下迳、墨溪、大陂坑三个村委会；1989年成为管理区，1999年又恢复村委会建制。该村原属鱼坝镇，2004年5月鱼坝镇撤销后划归禾云镇。2004年10月，下迳、墨溪、大陂坑三个村委会合并，设立下迳村委会，沿用至今。[1]
