地名由来[edit]

据传明朝年间，村里有一口池塘，村民到池边挑水饮用，由此得名井塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年，这里是井塘乡的范围；1958年成立井塘生产大队。1983年4月设立井塘乡政府，1986年首次设立井塘村委会。1999年一度改为井塘管理区，同年再改回村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会公布「2022年广东省卫生村」名单，本村的高阳村八村入选。[1]
