头巾村是龙颈镇最南端的行政村，面积约29.7平方千米。村名来自河边一处形似头巾的沙滩[1]。村内以笋竹种植为主，骆坑笋是其特色产品[1][2]。

2020年8月，头巾村列入广东省农业农村厅首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，项目为骆坑笋[1]。2021年12月，头巾村获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。2023年，头巾村入选「2023年广东省乡村治理示范村」[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

早年这里设头巾滩乡，之后在1958年划为大队，1983年又改回乡级建制；1986年起称村委会，1989年纳入管理区，1998年恢复村委会名称。2003年6月珠坑镇撤销后，本村归属龙颈镇；2004年10月，头巾、姨坑、骆坑三村委会整合，形成今天的头巾村[1]。
