历史沿革[edit]
布坑在1953年还是乡一级，1958年成为大队；1983年重又设乡，1986年才改成村委会，之后经历管理区的阶段，1998年回到村委会。2000年间另设明联瑶族新村，2004年9月它与布坑合并，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村内以农业为主，主要种植水稻和沙糖桔。[1]
文化[edit]
村内有亨图村古井、明联瑶族村、古建筑和伍氏祠堂等文化资源。[3]
2024年3月，布坑村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2024年，村子被列入第四批广东省文化和旅游特色村；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1][2][3]
