年丰村位于太平镇西南部，村委会设在清四公路边，距镇政府约5公里，下辖21个村民小组。[1]村名取意于从金门乡分出设大队之际，盼望农业年年丰收。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，此地归金门乡管辖；1958年自金门乡析出，单设年丰大队；1983年由年丰、金门、石桐三队组成元岗乡。1986年改为年丰村委会，1989年设管理区，1999年改称村委会，沿用至今。[1]2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予年丰村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

村域面积4.8平方千米，耕地1770亩，鱼塘266亩，730户、2597人。有清四一级公路经过，村内以水稻、花生、马铃薯、冬瓜、香瓜为主，并养殖塘鱼。[1]
