天良村位于太平镇西北部，村委会距镇政府约3公里，辖27个村民小组。[1]成立乡时，村名各取天井坑与良村的首字而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，天良与天塘组成天良乡；1958年起与天塘分开，设天良大队；1983年两村再次合起来，仍叫天良乡。1986年成立天良村委会，1989年变为管理区，1999年回到村委会建制。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

村域总面积8平方千米，耕地3047亩，鱼塘150亩，913户、3298人。村民以曾姓为多，多讲客家话。村内有小学和卫生站各一间，主要种植水稻、蔬菜和沙塘桔。[1]
