大楼村是太平镇东北部的行政村，村委会距镇政府约3公里，下辖15个村民小组。[1]村名由大布岗的「大」字与水楼村的「楼」字合成，原与楼星村同属大楼乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，大楼村与楼星村合称大楼乡。1958年分设大楼大队，1983年再并入楼星乡，仍称大楼乡。1986年改为村委会，1989年设管理区，1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

全村626户、2347人，耕地约1505亩，村民以种植水稻、莲藕和冬瓜等蔬菜为主，兼养塘鱼。[1]
