太和镇是广东省清远市清新区东南部的镇，清新区人民政府驻地在镇内，镇名取自境内的太和古洞。2022年全镇下辖7个社区和11个行政村，2024年7月又从向群、西河、建设三个社区各析出一个新社区，即城东、城南、城北社区。2024年，太和镇入选「广东省文化和旅游特色镇」创先级名单。[1][2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年起，今镇域先后归附城公社和清城镇管辖，1983年并入清城区公社，1986年撤区建镇，镇归清远县管。[4]

1988年，清远建市，清郊区随之设立太和镇，原属清城镇的黄坑、乐园、周田三个村委会也改由太和镇统辖。[1][4]

清郊区于1992年5月被撤销，改设清新县，太和镇随之归清新县；此后清新县又在2012年改为清新区，太和镇仍属其下。[1][4]

2002年5月，回澜镇被撤销，其居委会以及飞水、井塘、白莲、塔脚、新洲、五星等村委会的区域并入太和镇，区政府的行政区划说明中还列有滘星、万群、万星三个村委会的区域同样并入。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域地势东北高、西南低，山地约占三分之二，平原约占三分之一。全镇有耕地13135.71亩，山林129655亩。[3]

汕湛、许广、广清等高速公路及清花高速在镇内交汇，省道S114、S354、S377环绕镇域，北江航道则连接珠江水系。[3]

经济[edit]

忠华集团、双汇食品、广硕鞋厂等企业是镇里的重点企业。2022年前三季度，规模以上工业企业有49家，产值约81.26亿元，其中前五家企业的产值占工业总产值的73.91%。[2]

特色农产品有粉葛、淮山、莲藕，被称为「太和三宝」，另有笔架茶、清远麻鸡、清新冰糖桔等。[3][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

古龙峡景区为国家4A级旅游景区，2007年5月对外开放，2023年到访游客约一百六十一万六千七百人次。[3][6]

玄真古洞生态旅游度假区，又称玄真漂流旅游度假区，为国家4A级旅游景区，景区开园于2003年4月29日，占地7.8平方千米。[3][7]

太和古洞风景区为国家3A级旅游景区，洞内道观始建于清咸丰四年（1854年），是道教圣地。[3][8]

笔架山旅游区为国家3A级旅游景区。[3]

鳌头塔俗称飞水塔，位于飞水口西岸，为省级文物保护单位，塔高29.7米，共九层。[3][5]

文化[edit]

笔架茶制作工艺为省级非物质文化遗产项目。[3]

镇内流传的民俗文化包括禾楼歌等。[4]
