旧岭村是飞来峡镇下辖的行政村，也是清城区革命老区村庄之一。村名的来历是元朝初年的一个铁匠传说。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

元朝初期，外地的李、曾、涂三姓铁匠迁来定居。一位李姓铁匠看见后山有一只大白狗，便把这座山称为狗岭。“狗”与“旧”同音，村名遂称旧岭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年起先后设大队、乡，1987年改为村委会，1999年又改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
