银地村是飞来峡镇下辖的行政村，村名来源于早年以糖蔗换取银币的一段旧事。[1]

名称由来[edit]

清朝乾隆年间，祖先由南海连滩迁居此地。当时四周还是一片沙洲，村民开垦后遍种糖蔗，以糖蔗换取银币，地因此称银地。村委会驻地也设在银地，故沿用此名。[1]
