螺塘村是飞来峡镇下辖的行政村，村名来自村后的山形与山下的水塘。2004年，螺塘村与共星村委会合并，改称螺塘村委会。2019年9月，螺塘村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]

名称由来[edit]

村后的山形似田螺，山下有一个水塘，故称螺塘。村委会驻地设在此处，遂以村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

螺塘村早年为螺塘乡，1963年设为大队，之后又经历乡与村委会的变化。1987年起为村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年复为村委会，2004年与共星村委会合并。[1]

产业[edit]

清农清远麻鸡种鸡场位于螺塘村。据镇政府介绍，该场建成后，存栏可达十万套，每年可产祖代十万套、父母代三百万套，产值在一亿元以上。[2]
