黄口村是飞来峡镇下辖的行政村。村名的来历与地理位置有关：建村时村子位于潖江河中下游黄溪坑的出口处，村委会驻地也设在黄口，故名。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据记载，早先有姓李的渔民居住在此打鱼，建村时因临近黄溪坑出口，取名黄口。此后这一建制经历过黄口乡、大队等阶段，1987年起设为村委会，1989年一度改为管理区，1999年又恢复为村委会。[1]
