大有村是横荷街道下辖的行政村，位于街道西南面，清三公路横贯其中。村域一面临大燕河、与石角镇相接，另一面以北江为界，隔江与清新区山塘镇相望。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村落原名大坳岗，因坐落在岗顶，村民希望日子富足，遂改称大有岗；村委会驻地于此，村名遂定为大有。[1]

沿革[edit]

村的建制经过多次变动：1953年设大有乡，1958年为大队，1983年又称乡，1987年改为村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年再次定为村委会。[1]

概况[edit]

村辖面积约25平方千米，其中耕地6120亩，全村分为27个村民小组，登记户籍人口为7800人（统计年份未注）。村内基本做到村村通自来水，也基本做到村村通水泥路。[1]

村委会近年在发展现代农业的同时，也发展工业、商业和旅游业。横荷街大有工业园，以及清远市北江水利枢纽工程，都位于村辖区内。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，大有村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
