横荷街道是广东省清远市清城区下辖的街道，位于清城区西南部，辖区紧靠北江与大燕河，三面环水。[1][2]

街道前身为1990年设立的横荷镇，2003年6月改设街道。2024年末，全街道户籍人口7.87万人，下辖12个行政村（社区）。[3][1]

历史沿革[edit]

1990年12月，省民政厅同意调整洲心镇的行政区划，从原洲心镇划出10个管理区新设横荷镇。镇政府最初暂驻百加圩，1993年迁至清远大道旁的新址。[3][2]

2003年6月，横荷镇撤销，改设横荷街道。[3]

1957年，原清远县在评划革命老区时，把洲心的上黄塘（今属横荷的车头）确定为革命红色游击区，车头村至今仍是街道内的革命老区村。[4]

地理环境[edit]

街道位于清城区西南部，北江与大燕河流经辖区一带，三面环水。辖区面积，博雅地名网作90.87平方千米，百度百科作90.3平方千米。[2][1]

107国道与清三（清远至三水）一级公路穿过辖区，广清高速公路横跨其中并在辖内设两个出口。街道距清远市火车站约16公里。[2]

气候属亚热带季风气候。[1]

人口[edit]

在2021年公布的第七次全国人口普查结果中，街道人口为8.99万人，在清城区各街道乡镇中居第六位。[2]

2024年末，全街道户籍人口7.87万人。[3]

经济[edit]

街道以工业和农业为两条主线。截至2017年9月，街道财政收入为6964.5万元，税务收入达13818万元。规模以上工业企业总产值16.74亿元，固定资产投资15.08亿元。[1]

农业方面，街道素有「鱼米之乡」「三鸟之乡」之称，清远麻鸡、乌鬃鹅是传统特产。博雅地名网所载经济作物种植面积约3.5万亩，鱼塘放养面积约8200亩（统计年份未注）。[5]

据2002年前后的资料，工业项目多设于荷兴工业园与大有工业开发区，产品门类以家具制造、电缆和制鞋为主。[5]

著名人物[edit]

黄俊廉（1897年至1952年），洲心镇车头上黄塘村人，该村今归属横荷街道。[2]
