洲心社区是洲心街道下辖的社区居民委员会，博雅地名网将其归为主城区。该地原为北江流域的沙洲，明末有移民在此聚居成村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，该区域历史上曾称靖定乡、兴靖区，社区管辖范围以圩镇化的区域为主。[1]

社区内的适耕园建于1930年，为二层砖木结构建筑，现为区级文物保护单位。[3][4]

上世纪60年代，洲心社区是「洲心经验」探索的地点之一。[1]
