黄金布村是东城街道东部的行政村，位于飞霞山西北麓，距街道办事处约15千米，分为3个村民小组。[1][2]
2026年1月，村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」；2024年11月，村被确定为「2024年广东省美丽庭院特色村」。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此地在清代已有村落。村子东面与峡山相连，南面临着北江，四周山水明秀、田地开阔，旧时人们称之为黄金之地，村名由此而来。[2]
人口与姓氏[edit]
村中世居黎、李、陈、曾、吴、梁、林七姓，以黎姓人数最多。黎姓一支明代末年从南雄迁至番禺，清代再迁到此地，原称凤羲村，别名黎宅。[2]
截至2015年末，户籍人口为822人。祖籍本村的香港同胞16人，华侨华人84人，居于新加坡与马来西亚。[2]
沿革[edit]
村落形成时属清远县捕属兴一乡，之后隶属多次变动。1953年属第一区江埗乡，1958年为附城人民公社黄金大队，1988年属附城镇黄金行政村，2003年起属东城街道黄金行政村。[2]
祠堂与习俗[edit]
村中现存黎氏祖祠1座、门楼2座，以及一段古围墙，均始建于清代后期。祖祠为三间两进布局，硬山顶，青砖墙，内设神龛供奉祖先牌位。[2]
每年春节前，村中有谢灶、扫屋等习俗：腊月二十三送灶，除夕接灶，腊月二十八大扫除，寓意送走晦气。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
