石板村是东城街道下辖的行政村，村委会驻地位于街道西南面，下辖23条自然村。[1]

村内有清城区文物保护单位石板乡农会旧址，建于1924年，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑。2026年1月，村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自方石带、夏板溪两人名字中的「石」与「板」二字。村委会驻于此地，名称由此确定。[1]

沿革[edit]

1953年设乡时以石板命名，1958年为大队，1983年复为乡，1987年成为村委会，1989年定为管理区，1999年又成村委会。2003年，高星、石板、黄茶三个村委会撤销，合并设立石板村委会，沿用至今。[1]

石板乡农会旧址[edit]

旧址位于石板村，建于1924年，是清城区文物保护单位。[1]

黄茶村[edit]

村辖的黄茶村是传统村落，位于街道西北部，始建于清乾隆二年（1737年），是黄姓兄弟迁来定居后形成的村落。村中现存大宾公祠、粤宾黄公祠两座清代宗祠，并出过清光绪年间的举人黄昌祚。[2]

著名人物[edit]

刘清（1900年至1928年）是石板村人，出生于贫苦农家。1924年冬，石板乡建立了原清远县第一个农民协会，刘清随即投身农会工作。[1]
