地名由来[edit]
此处原是一处小山岗，乡民常在这里买卖农副产品与山货，逐渐形成小圩市，俗称「岗埗圩」。「岗埗」与「江埗」读音相近，村委会驻于此地，遂称江埗。[1]
沿革[edit]
1953年设乡时定名江埗。此后先后改为大队、乡、村委会和管理区，1999年再改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，江埗村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。2023年4月，村入选「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
