社区占地约1平方千米。东至笔架河，南面与古城社区居委会相接，西至松岗路，北与清新交界[2]。

经济[edit]

辖区内有松岗市场和后岗市场，居民可就近购物[2]。

文化[edit]

社区居委会每年在中秋、春节等重大节日组织村民文化活动，并向每位村民发放节日慰问，向老党员和五保户发放慰问金。社区获得过「文明小康村」「先进基层党组织」「尊师重教单位」等荣誉称号[2]。
