朱围是清远市清城区凤城街道东南部的自然村，距街道办事处约1.3千米，是清郊社区居民委员会的驻地[1]。村庄四周已是高楼密集的城区，属于城中村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清顺治二年（1645年），原居清远潖江下岳（今佛冈县龙山镇下岳村）的朱氏第十五世朱象谦（又名跃龙，庠生）迁来此处开村定居，村因此得名朱围。其后林、陈、江三姓先后迁入[1]。

建村时，该村属清远县兴一乡。此后的隶属多有变动：1950年划入清远县一区，1958年并入清远县清城人民公社，成为清郊大队，1986年归清城镇的清郊行政村，1990年12月转属松岗街道。2003年6月起属清城区凤城街道清郊社区[1]。

人口民族[edit]

2015年末，村中户籍人口为881人，居民全为汉族。方言属广府民系，日常通用清远话[1]。

经济[edit]

原先村边的朱塘与六公塘两口池塘如今都已填埋，地块用于建设朱围综合批发市场。朱围大街的物业，一部分归村集体，一部分由村民自有。集体经济靠的主要是实体物业、批发市场与商铺出租[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村中朱氏是南宋抗元义士朱文焕的后人。朱文焕曾在北江地区带兵抗击元军，在大庙峡与入侵的元兵作战，最终战败身亡。其子朱继贤将遗体葬于横石簕竹坦，墓址今在飞来峡镇鳡鱼咀，是清城区的一处文物保护单位[1]。

姓氏宗族[edit]

朱围朱氏族人存有《两岳朱家族谱》和《下岳松轩朱氏族谱》。《两岳朱家族谱》又名《清远两岳朱氏族谱》，1925年由朱叔平纂修，为石印本，谱前有朱汝珍作序，朱汝珍是清末科举中的榜眼。族谱除梳理朱氏世系的来龙去脉，也记述了潖江一带的水灾、盗贼与剿匪等史事[1]。
