官河村隶属阳春市八甲镇，是镇内的行政村。村名来自清末至民国初年一段与镇压匪患有关的旧事。[1]

名称来历[edit]

清末为镇压山中的会党，民国初又为镇压徐东海一带的匪患，官军常驻于此。商铺因此增多，渐成小街，名为官河街。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年建乡，1958年并为生产大队，1983年成为乡政府，1986年又改称村委会，1989年变为管理区。[1]

阳春市人民政府于1999年3月15日核准组建官河村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，官河村入选「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2026年1月，官河村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
