古重村位于阳春市双窖镇境内，是镇下辖的行政村，所在地形以低山丘陵为主[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

清康熙年间（1662年至1722年），石埇与古重两个自然村先后建立[1]。1958年设立古重大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年成为村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年，村委会得以设立[1][2]。
