庞洞村位于三甲镇，为该镇的行政村。村内的河背范氏宗祠于2019年被公布为广东省省级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明正德年间（1506年至1521年），此地形成庞洞圩。民国时期设庞洞乡，下辖大庞洞、小庞洞与古牛山一带。1951年，山口、古山两乡自庞洞乡析出，庞洞乡的名称却未改。[1]

1958年，庞洞大队分出庞西、庞北两个大队，庞洞大队仍驻于庞洞圩。此后1983年转设乡政府，1986年组建村委会，1989年归入管理区。1999年2月6日，阳春市政府依批示设立庞洞村委会，名称延续至今。[1]

文物[edit]

河背范氏宗祠位于本村，2019年4月19日被公布为广东省第九批省级文物保护单位，年代为清代。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2023年10月，本村的田冲村与塘面村获列入「2023年度阳江市卫生村」名单。[1]
