尧垌村是阳春市潭水镇下辖的行政村。据博雅地名网，明朝时此地称「瑶垌」，因石灰窖多又改称「窖垌」，后定名尧垌。[1][3]

1951年设乡，之后经历大队、乡政府等阶段，1999年复设村委会。[2][3]

2019年9月，尧垌村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
