潭水镇是广东省阳江市阳春市下辖的镇，位于阳春市南部。镇境东面与岗美镇相界，南面接河口镇，西面与三甲、八甲两镇相连，北面与马水、永宁两镇邻近。[1][5]

全镇面积265.4平方千米，辖3个社区和22个行政村，镇人民政府驻潭水圩。第七次全国人口普查结果为5.33万人。[1][5]

镇域属漠阳江中游的丘陵地带，农业以鱼苗、猪苗养殖为主，鱼苗的产地主要在水口、凤来、三塘等村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖年间，罗凤河改道，原先的凤凰圩迁到河流深潭的北岸，另建新集市，称为潭水圩。镇人民政府后来设在圩上，镇名即由此而来。[1]

1908年（清光绪三十四年）此地划为太平都。抗战期间的1937年设潭水区；阳春解放后的1949年，编入第五区。1958年改组为公社，1984年又改回区公所的形式，1986年定名潭水镇。[1][5]

各行政村的村委会于1999年2月4日经阳春市人民政府批准设立，沿用至今。[3][4]

2017年，潭水居委会划出一部分，另立镇北居委会。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇境为丘陵地带，地势西北高、东南低，地处漠阳江中游。[5]

气候属亚热带季风气候，年平均气温约22℃。[5]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科载，截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口为86036人。博雅地名网依第七次全国人口普查，记作5.33万人。两处的口径与年份不同，不能互相替代。[5][1]

经济[edit]

据百度百科，2011年的农业与工业产值分别为6.97亿元和5.53亿元。2019年全镇工业企业共35家，规模以上者9家。2014年，省科技厅把本镇评为「省级技术创新专业镇」。[5]

据博雅地名网，鱼苗一年可出苗三次，孵化时间较早，主要分布在水口、凤来、三塘等村。猪苗养殖规模较大，每年产出约14.8万头（年份未注明）。[2]

「潭水豆豉」获得过广东省工业企业质量信得过产品的评定（年份未注明），销往中山、阳江、广州一带。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年12月，本镇获得「2021年度阳江市卫生镇」称号；2024年3月，获命名「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

灯心塘村刘氏家宅在凤来村委会的灯心塘村内，为清代古建筑。2021年8月，该宅被列为「阳春市第二批县级文物保护单位」。[7][6]
