轮岗村是岗美镇下辖的行政村，前身为清代的瑶民聚居村落，1951年以乡级建制立名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，此地于清乾隆年间由瑶民建成盘屋村。民国时期村子属轮溪乡。1951年，它从岗腰村中分出设乡，乡名由轮溪、岗腰两地各取一字组成，称轮岗乡。此后它改作大队，又转为乡政府，1980年代中后期改为村委会与管理区，1998年10月，阳春市人民政府批准设置轮岗村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，轮岗村被收入省里公布的2018年民主法治示范创建名册。[1]
