麦垌村是岗美镇下辖的行政村，博雅地名网记其建村于清乾隆年间。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清乾隆年间，此地已有村落。1975年，村子从轮源大队中分出，另设麦垌大队。此后它依次改作乡政府、村委会和管理区的建制，直到1998年10月经阳春市人民政府批准，以村委会的形式定下来。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
麦垌村以澳洲坚果为主要产业，2021年9月被认定为广东省第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村。2019年9月，该村被收入省里公布的2018年民主法治示范创建名册。[1]
