马兰村是阳春市马水镇下辖的行政村。因便于管理马匹，此地最初称“马栏”，后人去掉“木”字旁，写作“兰”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

697年（唐万岁通天二年），李千里带骑兵南来，在春州马水一带驻扎。1951年设马兰乡，1958年成为大队。1983年转为乡政府，1986年改设村委会，1989年改称管理区。1999年3月7日，经阳春市政府批准，马兰村委会得以设立，并延续至今。[1]
