马水镇是广东省阳江市阳春市下辖的镇，镇政府驻马水圩，在阳春市区西南约13千米处。全镇辖15个行政村，此外设有马水社区和华侨农场的生活区。截至2024年6月，镇域面积139.9平方千米，户籍5.02万人、常住3.06万人。[4]

“马水”之名在唐代已见于传说，明代至清末此地属南乡都，民国时设马水乡，1992年改为马水镇。镇内农业以种植和养殖为主，马水桔是有名的特产，马水镇被正式命名为“中国马水桔之乡”。[4][7]

名称来历[edit]

相传唐万岁通天二年（697年），李千里率骑兵驻扎于此，准备进攻高州的冯君衡，战马在江边饮水，后人便以“马水”称呼这里。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明代至清光绪末年，此地属南乡都。民国元年至1952年归第一区管辖，1953年8月设第二区，此区后称马水区。1957年4月成立马水乡；次年10月组建马水公社，随即并入漠阳公社，后者更名为春城公社。1961年4月马水公社重新设立。1983年8月改称马水区，1986年12月撤区，建立乡镇，名为马水乡，1992年改为镇。[3][4]

地理环境[edit]

马水镇位于阳春市区西南约13千米，属半丘陵地带，地势西高东低，西北部和西部为低山丘陵。东邻春城镇，西接永宁镇，南与岗美镇、潭水镇相接，北面与春城镇相连。[2][4]

镇域大部分村庄属罂煲河水系，罂煲河是漠阳江的支流。镇内有5座小型水库，其中河表水库的库容较大。[4]

交通方面，三茂铁路和国道325线南北贯穿境内，汕湛高速在中岗村黄塘设有出入口。[4] 维基百科另记有广茂铁路石菉站。[5]

人口民族[edit]

据2020年11月1日零时的统计，常住人口30613人。[4] 博雅地名网引用第七次全国人口普查，称2021年6月的人口约为3.06万人，在阳春各镇街中列第12位。[1]

经济[edit]

镇内农业以种植和养殖为主，有马水桔、蚕桑、藿香等特色产业。2003年，全镇工农业总产值为22492万元，其中农业产值15668万元，工业产值6824万元。[4] 2022年6月，全镇有工业企业26家，其中规模以上企业7家，服务业企业2家；2021年税收入库936万元。[4]

工业以装备制造和有色金属为重。镇内设有广东新兴铸管有限公司，另有科立鑫（阳江）新能源有限公司也在镇内。[4]

马水桔产于马水、石下、岗水三个地方，果皮薄，化渣少核，清甜芳香，是广东四大名桔之一。[1][7] 马水桔于2011年获准实施地理标志产品保护，批准单位为原国家质检总局，日期为3月28日。[7]

名胜古迹[edit]

春都温泉位于河表水库库区，北靠钩髻顶，三面环山，前临湖面。泉水属氡泉，水温约摄氏79.4度。度假区2003年开业，2008年5月装修，为三星级。[6]

湛氏碉楼位于石田村委会黄皮山村，建于清代，是阳江市第三批文物保护单位。[1]

石录一带留有汉代的炼铜遗址，遗址散布在周边几座山岭上，范围近1.5平方千米，地表遍布炉渣，估计炉渣将近100万吨。1979年，蟹地村附近出土了一只东汉北流型铜鼓。[4]

马栏蛤窿岩东侧岩下有一处洞穴，1983年由县文物普查队发现。洞穴的胶结层中有剑齿象、犀牛等动物的牙齿和鱼骨化石，但未经发掘，暂定为旧石器时代古人类活动的遗存。[4]

南山寺已有三百余年历史。博雅地名网另列有马兰石林、马石、鹅抱岭石刻、石录古庙、塘底古庙、观天阁和通天阁等古迹。[1][4]

其中，马兰村被列为“阳江市十大最美乡村之一”。[4]

文化[edit]

镇内有铜业中学，创建于1968年，原为企业办的完全中学，2004年2月移交地方办学，为阳江市一级学校。[4]

广东省爱国卫生运动委员会在2023年4月11日给马水镇颁发了“广东省卫生乡镇”称号。[4]
