1958年改作大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年转为村委会，1989年定为管理区。[2]

1999年1月29日，阳春市人民政府批准设立造和村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，造和村列入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年度创建单位名单。[1]

2019年12月，造和村被纳入第二批「国家森林乡村」，该批名单由国家林业和草原局发布。[1]

2020年8月，造和村入选广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为澳洲坚果。[1]

2021年9月，造和村入选广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为鸡蛋。[1]

2023年4月，造和村列入2022年广东省「乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
