马催村位于阳江市阳春市圭岗镇境内，在镇的东南部，为一个行政村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
明嘉靖年间（1522年至1566年），汉人在马落坑一带建村，村名后来改为马催。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年设乡，1958年并入大队，1983年称乡政府，1986年改称村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年3月4日，经阳春市人民政府批文，设立马催村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
据百度百科，村域面积约11平方千米。2016年的统计里，全村有609户、2547人，其中建档立卡贫困户为54户、128人。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，马催村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把马催村确定为2021年广东省「乡村治理示范村」创建单位。2026年1月，马催村获得广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[2]
