淡荡村位于阳江市阳春市圭岗镇境内，为一个行政村。明代嘉靖年间已有汉人在此定居立村，1999年才正式设立村民委员会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖年间，汉人在此建村。1951年设淡荡乡，1958年并入大队，1983年称乡政府，1986年改称村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年3月4日，经阳春市人民政府批文，设立淡荡村民委员会，此名沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，淡荡村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
