平北村是阳春市合水镇下辖的行政村。清道光年间（1821年—1850年）在石山下建成塘寨，1951年自平坦乡分出，设立平北大队，1999年3月4日经阳春市人民政府批准设立平北村委会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间（1821年—1850年），人们在石山下建立塘寨。1951年，从平坦乡分出，设立平北大队。1983年设乡政府，1986年起称村委会，其后于1989年改为管理区。经阳春市人民政府批准，于1999年3月4日设立平北村委会，此名延用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
2026年3月，平北村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
